From Hiroshima Airport to Hiroshima Station and Bus Center

Hiroshima Airport has no railway station. Compare the airport bus to Hiroshima Station for hotels nearby with the Bus Center service via Nakasuji for Kamiyacho and the Peace Memorial Park area. Check the current terminal map and boarding bay information because some facilities are under construction.

Airport bus to Hiroshima Station

From the first-floor arrivals lobby, check the current airport map for the Hiroshima Station bus bay. The bus arrives on the north side of the station. Use the station’s public passage to reach the south side or the tram connection.

Choose this for: For hotels north of the station or JR and Shinkansen connections
Before travelling: Airport buses may use unreserved seating, so a ticket should not be mistaken for a seat reservation. Drop-off points and luggage rules vary by operator, and road traffic can extend the journey. Hotels south of the station require an additional station passage walk.

Bus to Hiroshima Bus Center

Check the Bus Center destination signage on the first floor. Services via Nakasuji use one boarding bay, but some Hiroshima Station via Bus Center services board elsewhere and do not stop at Nakasuji. Match the route and stops to the bay before boarding.

Choose this for: For Kamiyacho, Hiroshima Castle or Peace Memorial Park area stays
Before travelling: Check the route from the Bus Center to street level and then to your accommodation. Bus schedules can change without notice or be adjusted to flight arrivals. Do not assume a seamless connection to Miyajima; match JR and ferry times separately.

Bus to Shiraichi + JR train

Take the bus for Shiraichi Station from airport bay 4, then transfer to a JR train toward Hiroshima. The bus and train are not guaranteed to connect on every departure, so check both date-specific timetables.

Choose this for: When you are comfortable transferring and prefer rail for part of the trip
Before travelling: Match the bus and JR timetables, and allow for the walk at Shiraichi Station and the wait for your train.
