Take the direct bus from Iiyama Station
The Nozawa Onsen Liner takes about 25 minutes from Iiyama Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen. Check the official timetable and fares for your festival date.
Check the event-year viewing terms
Check the official notice for that event year for spectator eligibility, designated areas and entry terms before choosing accommodation and transport.
Plan for sparks and a winter return
This is an outdoor event with flying sparks. Stay in the official viewing area and prepare for snow and cold. Once the end time is announced, check the last bus toward Iiyama and the onward connection to your accommodation.
